Ve Scoops an ‘Oscar of the Business World’
VeInteractive | August 16, 2012
Just when you thought the Olympics were over, two more medals are meted out. But not on the athletics pitch, this time it’s in the business world!
Ve Interactive is thrilled to have won a Bronze Stevie Award in the International Business Awards 2012 for ‘Most Innovative Company in Europe.’ And on top of this, our company’s co founder & CEO, the serial entrepreneur David Brown has also been awarded a Bronze for ‘Executive of the Year’ in the Computer Software category.
Founded in late 2009, we’re technically still a start up! Therefore finding ourselves alongside the Wonga’s of this world is a benchmark moment in Ve’s exciting history and one that we plan to celebrate tomorrow evening, when we have the second of our summer BBQs in London.
The Olympics were accused of helping to paper over the fact that we are on the verge of a depression in the UK. ”Unlike the Olympians who have thrilled us over the past fortnight, our economy has not yet reached full fitness,” Bank of England Governor, Mervyn King has recently said. But tomorrow evening the Ve Interactive UK crew will down tools to pick up BBQ ones instead and reward ourselves for our contribution so far in generating business opportunities, serving clients and creating jobs in these challenging economic times. Oh and that pleasant little matter of winning two fantastic bronzes on the worldwide business stage too!
