Previsões Otimistas para a Economia Brasileira

De acordo com os melhores economistas brasileiros, especialistas em política e em negócios, quando a economia global normalizar – O Brasil vai ser um dos melhores economicamente.

Novas previsões geradas por entrevistas feitas pelo O Globo, mostram que o Brasil ultrapassará a potência econômica Europeia, Alemanha, e será a quinta maior potência econômica em 2022. Alguns preveem que o Brasil vai ter o dobro de seu tamanho em 2030.

O empresário milionário Eike Batista – também conhecido como o homem mais rico do Brasil – tem um futuro ainda mais brilhante em mente:

“Eu vejo o Brasil entre as três maiores economias mundiais, com um grande crescimento social e sustentável.”

Embora estes dados possam ser apenas previsões, eles são baseados em um aumento de investimento estrangeiro, gastos do governo e uma população emergente.

José Augusto Coelho Fernandes, Diretor de Política e Estratégia na Confederação Nacional da Indústria (National Confederation of Industry, CNI), vê o maior desafio em manter um desenvolvimento sustentável, acreditando que o futuro do país está nas mãos dos Brasileiros:

“É claro que o crescimento global gera um melhor ambiente, mas parte dessa solução depende de: mais educação, inovação, reformas fiscais, modernização das regras de trabalho, e mais investimento e infraestrutura, independentemente da crise econômica da Europa, a recuperação dos EUA e do crescimento da China.”

Optimistic Long-Term Predictions for Brazilian Economy

According to top Brazilian economists, political experts and business figures, when the global economy gets back on track – Brazil is destined to be one of its top players.

New predictions generated by interviews conducted by O Globo, show the country overtaking European powerhouse Germany to be the world’s fifth largest economy by 2022. Some predict Brazil will even swell to double its current size by 2030.

Billionaire entrepreneur Eike Batista – also known as Brazil’s richest man – has an even brighter future in mind:

“I envisage Brazil in amongst the three biggest world economies, with major social advances and sustainable growth.”

While these may just be predictions, they are based on increased foreign investment and government spending and the emerging population – a staggering 70% of which will be of workable age by 2022.

José Augusto Coelho Fernandes, Director of Politics and Strategy at the Confederação Nacional da Indústria (National Confederation of Industry, CNI), sees the biggest challenge as maintaining sustainable development, believing the country’s future lies in the hands of Brazilians:

“Of course global growth creates the best environment, but part of the solution is independent of that: we need more education, innovation, tax reforms, modernized labour rules, and more investment in infrastructure, regardless of the worsening [economic] crisis in Europe, the recovery in the U.S., and growth in China.”
