Goodbye Number 25, it's been emotional. Those Romans, they knew a thing or two about stuff. And none more so than Seneca, who once said, “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end”. We know exactly what he meant.

Today is our last day at 25 Grosvenor St, Mayfair, London, the 3rd venue from which  Ve Interactive was nurtured and raised from a digital toddler into the award-winning data-driven-services company that has not only gone international, but outgrown its London HQ, too.

As we move to our fantastic new premises in Tech City, we look back on our time here with great fondness. Yes, it was a bit chilly in the winter and a bit stifling in the summer – especially as we grew and grew and grew some more – but it was home, and we’ll miss it.

To tip our cap to Number 25, some of the VeLadies and VeGents have written a couple of words to the old place:

“”I have often walked down this street before.” Fondest farewells to the wonderful Alan, cocktailing with minor royals, the boy in Starbucks who knows exactly how I take my chai, the juggling Big Issue seller and his performing hound, our wonderful friends in the Apostrophe crew, the kindly family chemists, the surrealism of Ferraris and Aston Martins purring down the street, the clang of Claridges emptying their bottle bins..!” – Kathy, Director of Worldwide Communications

“The cueing space around the pool table was a bit tight and there wasn’t enough room to do a victory run and dive!” – David, CEO

One Farringdon to rule them all,
One Farringdon to find them,
One Farringdon to bring them all
and in the darkness of Fabric, bind them. –
Lisa, VePoetLaureate and OEC

“We’ve got all our ducks in a row, and I’m looking forward to touching base at EC1 HQ. I hope we can get a stake in the ground straight away and really gain some traction!” – Jamie, Manager of VeFC

“I remember when there were less than 25 at 25. Now we’ll be able to accommodate over 250 members of staff. Mayfair, I know this is really hard for you. I’m sorry but we have to part ways. It’s not you, it’s me. I’m moving on to bigger and better things – my new found love in Tech City.” – Terry, VeGent No1. (He told us to write that).

“When I first started at the Mayfair office, the office felt like an immense space. The company has grown astonishingly fast. I’m looking forward to it, as we’ll be able to continue our Friday night social shenanigans chez nous, as well as welcome more people to the Ve Interactive family.” Hena, Graphic Designer (and owner of the most infectious giggle. She’ll kill us for telling you that).

“Captain’s personal log, supplemental: We’re heading towards Clerkenwell deep space at maximum warp. The crew has responded with the dedication I’ve come to expect of them. And like a thousand other commanders on a thousand other battlefields, I wait for the dawn.” – Paddy, Sector Head – Intergalactic Travel

“Thank you Mayfair for taking such good care of us. To the guys in Apostrophe, Starbucks, Chalet and all the watering holes in the vacinity, we will miss you all.’ The Shark – COO

So, farewell Mayfair and hello Tech City; Here’s to the future and all it holds. Ve Interactive has left the building.

Cheers!

Farewell Number 25!
