Perhaps you’ve noticed that Twitter icons are popping up on business sites all over the web. For individual users, Twitter is not restricted to a particular region. It is popular among a wide range of geographical locations due to its availability, flexibility, and affordability. But does Twitter really contribute to company’s marketing needs? Here are a few Twitter tools your online brand may find beneficial.

Retweets
Retweets are a powerful tool designed by Twitter to help quickly spread information to a large audience. A business can effectively use the retweet tool to market products and services to prospective clients by asking followers to share the information provided to their respective followers. If the retweet is well received by, they in turn will share it with their followers. This tool helps information travel quickly, and it is free.

Tweetmeets
The Twitter tweetmeet tool allows businesses to organize meetings with followers online. It can be used to promote existing products and services, or it can introduce a new product. Tweetmeets are also a creative way to carry out surveys, interviews, and opinion polls. It can also be used to provide real time business updates.

Linking
Twitter can be used to link a company’s twitter profile to the official website or blog. If a link is too long to be captured by a twitter update, it can be shortened using Tinyurl so as to be easily accommodated in one tweet. Linking can also be used to share YouTube advertisements, product videos, podcasts, etc.

Customer Care
Twitter gives businesses another way to connect with customers and receive complaints, suggestions, or opinions that can be used to create better products and services. Twitter can also be used to resolve customer issues as quickly as possible.

Businesses commonly utilize Twitter as a way to inform followers of existing promotions, discounts, and other incentives. These marketing strategies drive sales and increase revenue. They also help cut down on advertising costs that reduce business expenses.

So while Twitter usage may not make or break your business, it is an indisputably effective and inexpensive social media tool that is capable of delivering powerful results. Twitter has gradually established itself as a unique and important online marketing tool. From advertising to brand building, Twitter tools are consistently meeting the marketing needs of the modern business.

Good points. I agree with your list. But I don’t agree with this, “HubSpot has made it easy for businesses to attract customers.” They haven’t. They offer the tools. That doesn’t make it easy, Inbound marketing takes hard work—every day.
